My name is Ryan Kane and I’ve been working around and playing in the waters of Fort Myers for my entire life. I grew up here in Southwest Florida, doing what kids here do; fishing, swimming, and boating. And still, when my wife Amanda, and our daughters Rylee and Eliana ask me what I want to on my birthday, the answer is the same; let’s load up and head up to North Captiva or Cayo Costa and spend the day on the beach. These pristine islands near Sanibel and Captiva are only accessible by boat and are never crowded. Once you make this day trip by boat, you will never see the beaches the same.
